TheSashastra Seema Bal has released a notification for the recruitment of Sub Inspector, Assistant Sub Inspector, Head Constable and Constable Posts. There are almost 143 vacancies to be filled. Interested and Eligible candidates do visit the Official Website to apply for the post before the last date. Candidates are advised to apply before the last date 21st February 2016. Sashastra Seema Bal
Sashastra Seema Bal was established as Special Service Bureau in May 1963, in the aftermath of the Chinese aggression (in 1962). Sashastra Seema Bal came under aegis of the Ministry of Home Affairs (Jan 2001). SSB was declared a Lead Intelligence Agency for Indo Nepal (June 2001) and assigned the Indo Nepal border.

Eligibility Criteria for SI, ASI & Constable Posts of SSB Recruitment
Educational Qualification
SI (Staff Nurse): Aspirants should have passed 12th with science with three years Diploma in General Nursing with registered in nursing council of Indian.
ASI: Candidate should have passed 12th with science and Pharmacist Diploma or Radiographer or Operation theatre Technician or Dental Technician Diploma.
HC (Steward): Candidate should possess Matriculation with Diploma in Catering Kitchen Management.
Constable: Candidate should have passed 10th (Matriculation) with First Aid Examination passed or ITI in Waiter, Tailor, cobbler, Painter, Carpenter or Gardener with 2 years experience.
Age Limit
- The candidates should have a age limit of 18 years to 33 years

The Selection process is based on the performance of Written test, Physical Standard test, medical Exam and Interview
The Application Fee General and OBC candidates should pay application fee of Rs.50/- in the form of IPO/Demand Draft/Banker Cheque to the address mentioned in the below section.
Examination fee is exempted for SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen & Female candidates.
The Pay Scale For Post 1: Selected candidates will get a pay scale of Rs.9300/- to Rs.34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs.4200/-.
For Post 2 to 13: Selected candidates will get a pay scale of Rs.5200/- to Rs.20220/- with Grade Pay of Rs.2000/2800/-.
