UPSC CMS Exam Notice 2021: Apply now – Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released Exam Notice for various medical service posts. UPSC is going to conduct Combined Medical Service Exam to select suitable candidates who are to be appointed under many medical posts. The posts for which UPSC is conducting CMS Exam include Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Services, Assistant Divisional Medical Officer, GDMO (New Delhi Municipal Council), and General Duty Medical Gr.-II (EDMC, NDMC & SDMC). Candidates are requested to apply online for the CMS exam. Applications are accepted only if all the eligibility conditions are satisfied as per UPSC terms. UPSC CMS Exam Details
Combined examination for recruitment to various medical service posts will be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. UPSC CMS exam is scheduled on 21st November 2021. Applications can be sent by the candidates as UPSC has released the advertisement regarding the exam in the official site. As per the UPSC Examination Notice No.09/2021-CMS there are a total of 838 posts opened in this recruitment. the break up of the vacancies are given in the tabe below.

Online applications are accepted starting from 7th July 2021 and this will close on 27th July 2021. The online Applications can be withdrawn from 03.08.2021 to 09.08.2021 till 6.00 PM.

UPSC Qualification and Age Limit
The candidate must possess an MBBS degree. to be eligible. A candidate for this examination must not have attained the age of 32 years as of 1st August 2021, i.e. the candidate must have been born not earlier than 2nd August 1989. Junior Time Scale Posts in Central Health Services, the upper age limit must not exceed 35 (thirty-five years) on the aforesaid cut-off date. Age relaxation of five years will be applicable for SC/ST applicants and three years of OBC candidates.
UPSC Recruitment Selection Process
The candidates should pass the following exams to get qualified.
- Written Examination
- Personality Test
The candidates will take the written examination in two Papers, each Paper carrying a maximum of 250 marks. Each Paper will be of two hours duration. Personality test carrying 100 marks of such of the candidates who qualify on the results of the written examination.
